Honda unveils 4th generation City in India

Honda Cars has launched the 4th generation City at a world premiere event in India. The new car launches in India with a 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine. The new car was developed at Honda’s Tochigi R&D center, with input from ASEAN and Indian markets where the car will be sold.

The all-new City carries Honda’s new ‘Exciting H Design,’ comprised of grand sounding features like ‘Solid Wing Face, Well Toned Athlete Form body and Finely Honed Surfacing.’ In actuality, it’s a well-rendered sedan version of the similarly new Jazz.

The new City will maintain the same footprint as the previous model, at 4440mm length x 1695mm width. Wheelbase is increased by 50mm to 2600mm, notably as long as some C-segment sedans, and height also goes up by 10mm.

The interior features a ‘futuristic Layered Floating Cockpit…concentrated for driver convenience and can be operated like a smartphone.’
