The Philippine Atmoshpheric Geophysicla and Astronomical Services had again placed Metro Manila under a red warning rainfall alert Tuesday evening.
“Torrential rainfall (30.0-40.0mm/hr) was observed over QC, CAMANAVA, Manila & Marikina while Moderate to Heavy rainfall (5.0-15.0mm/hr) was observed over the rest of Metro Manila for the past 3 hours,” said PAGASA in its 9:30 p.m. red warning alert.
The monsoon rains had prompted the weather bureau to issue an initial rainfall Red alert over the NCR late Monday evening. — DVM, GMA News
