Today, Google is celebrating the day with a special colored electromagnetic animated wavy Google Doodle to honor the 155th Birthday of Heinrich Rudolf Hertz who produced electromagnetic waves.
Heinrich Rudolf Hertz is a German physicist who was the first to broadcast and receive radio waves. He also developed the Hertz antenna receiver.
