Honor 7X 4G LTE-Enabled Android 7.0 Smartphone Announced


Huawei is pleased to announce their latest 4G LTE-enabled Android 7.0 smartphone, the Honor 7X. Adopting a unibody metal design, this mid-range smartphone sports a 5.93-inch 2160 x 1080 Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display, an octa-core Kirin 659 processor (4 x A53 at 2.36GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.7GHz), a MaliT830-MP2 GPU, a 4GB RAM and a 32GB/64GB/128GB of expandable internal storage (up to 256GB).


Featuring Hybrid dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD) card slots, the handset packs an 8MP front-facing camera, a 16MP rear-facing camera with LED flash + secondary 2MP camera, a fingerprint sensor and a 3340mAh battery.

Running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with EMUI 5.1 on top, the Honor 7X provides 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE and GPS/GLONASS for connectivity. The Honor 7X will go on sale in China from October 17th for a starting price of 1,299 Yuan (about $198) for the 32GB version. [FoneArena]
