You can now mix and match your Bitmoji’s clothing
Snap Inc. has launched a new Bitmoji feature that lets users make their avatars resemble themselves — particularly in terms of their clothing tastes — even more closely; it’s called Mix and Match.
On Monday Snap Inc. began rolling out a new feature for Bitmoji: The Mix and Match clothing option.
This new tool allows users to become their digital avatar’s personal designer. The color of each virtual item of clothing can be customized and then paired with whichever tops, bottoms, coats, shoes, and other accessories a user likes. Outfits can then be saved in an individual’s Bitmoji closet so that they can wear it again later.
With the launch of this tool, Bitmoji is also offering users real-life 20% off Bitmoji merch (which is only accessible to iOS users) so that they can put their newly styled avatar on a T-shirt or mug.
This update is coming just in time to make the Snap Inc. app fiercer competition against Facebook’s own Avatars which are due to launch in what’s left of this year or in early 2020. They have been available exclusively in Australia since this past June.

Look at Kylie Jenner’s New $400,000 Luxury Car
Kylie Jenner, the most viewed star on Snapchat, showed off her brand new super car in a new snap. She recorded the arrival of her $400,000 white Rolls Royce Ghost on a low-loader truck while saying, “Yay! It’s here!”
The 18-year-old didn’t think twice and took the luxury saloon for a test drive with her girl friends in Los Angeles. With the cream-colored interior looking sexy and a Chris Brown song blasting in the background, this car makes you wish you were one of Kylie’s best gals. (Yeah, ‘cause she gifts them with a Mercedez-Benz, too, by the way.)
There sure is a lot of room for more cars in this Jenner’s garage. Just this August, her rapper boyfriend Tyga surprised her with a $320,000 Ferrari 458 Italia for her birthday. Prior to it, she has been seen driving a $45,000 Jeep Wrangler, a $195,000 Range Rover, and a $233,000 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
The reality TV star is said to have a net worth of $5M. And, according to CNN Money, her new Kylie Jenner app is estimated to make $15M in its first year, outselling any of her sister’s apps. Now that’s a whole lot more super cars for you, Kylie.

Snapchat hackers post phone numbers of 4.6M users online
PARIS—Hackers broke into Snapchat, the hugely popular mobile app, accessing the phone numbers and usernames of 4.6 million users and publishing them online, tech news website TechCrunch has announced.
The numbers were partially masked when they were briefly published on SnapchatDB.info, and the unidentified hackers told TechCrunch they had done this “to convince the messaging app to beef up its security.”
Snapchat, which allows people to send smartphone photos or video snippets timed to self-destruct 10 seconds or less after being opened, has become hugely popular among teenagers who are easing away from Facebook.
But Australian firm Gibson Security warned last week that glitches in the application could be exploited by hackers.
“Our motivation behind the release was to raise the public awareness around the issue,” the hackers said in a statement, published on TechCrunch late Wednesday.
“It is understandable that tech startups have limited resources but security and privacy should not be a secondary goal. Security matters as much as user experience does.
“You wouldn’t want to eat at a restaurant that spends millions on decoration, but barely anything on cleanliness.”
Created by students at Stanford University in 2011, Snapchat reportedly rejected a $3 billion takeover offer from Facebook last year.

US teens are getting bored with Facebook
Teens may be getting bored with Facebook and trying out other social networks such as Instagram, and the social networking giant is aware of the trend.
A report on BusinessInsider said Facebook itself noted the trend in its annual 10-K report, where it said its younger users are engaging with "other" products and services.
"We believe that some of our users, particularly our younger users, are aware of and actively engaging with other products and services similar to, or as a substitute for, Facebook. For example, we believe that some of our users have reduced their engagement with Facebook in favor of increased engagement with other products and services such as Instagram," it quoted Facebook as saying.
Such a trend may lead to "a decline in user engagement and our business could be harmed," it quoted Facebook as saying.
BusinessInsider also quoted Adam Ludwin, developer of social photo album app Albumatic, as saying most members of a focus group of people under age 25 told him they did not like how the app relied heavily on Facebook.
"They gave me the typical teenage response: 'We're bored with Facebook,'" Ludwin told Business Insider.
Even Branch CEO Josh Miller recently asked his 15-year-old sister if she still used Facebook - and learned teens are more fascinated with Instagram and Snapchat.
"She mentioned that she tries to visit Facebook as infrequently as possible," he wrote.
He also said his sister told him she only visits Facebook after she is finished with Instagram.
Not even Facebook Chat could give Facebook much help - Miller quoted his sister as saying that when one goes on Facebook Chat, "the people you don’t want to talk to are always the ones who immediately chat with you.”
But BusinessInsider noted teens are not quite closing the door on Facebook and deleting their profiles from the site.
"They're just looking to use the service less, and they're open to communicating on other platforms," it said.
Besides, it said Instagram is a property of Facebook, and founder Mark Zuckerberg "can still monetize them on mobile devices." — TJD, GMA News
